NAVAJO Company Wins Two Prestigious Writing Awards for Symantec Corporation from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE).
In the fall of 2010, Symantec Corporation and its NAVAJO Company CIO Digest magazine lead writers, Alan Drummer (creative director, content) and Ken Downie (senior writer), became the proud recipients of the gold and silver “How-To” category awards in the ASBPE’s western region annual competition.
ASBPE’s Azbee Awards of Excellence program is one of the most competitive there is for business-to-business, trade, association, and professional publications. The society’s annual awards recognize outstanding work by magazines, newsletters, and digital media—Web sites, e-newsletters, digital magazines, and blogs.

In the recent competition, Downie received the gold award for his “Endpoint Virtualization” article in the October 2009 issue of CIO Digest and Drummer earned the silver award for his piece in the July 2009 CIO Digest issue titled: “Get Your Money Out of Storage.” It is always nice to be recognized for doing great work…thank you ASBPE and thank you Symantec!
